A Gold Star Approved BPI Accredited Contractor, Ardently Green is part of an elite group of contractors selected for whole-home assessments and retrofit solution implementation. We comply with the requirements of BPI’s national Quality Assurance Program to give you added peace of mind in knowing that we can help diagnose the root cause of the problems in your home and have the ability to provide solutions to fix it right the first time. That means you get your money’s worth – a comfortable, durable home with improved indoor air quality and lower energy bills.
Ardent360 and it’s home performance division Ardently Green are working in partnership with Northern Virginia Home Performance with Energy Star to assist you in achieving your home performance goals. Whether it’s improving comfort, cutting energy costs and/or protecting the environment, we are equipped with specialized training and diagnostic tools to know what energy-efficiency improvements to make in a home and how they can work together to maximize benefit for homeowners.
Ardently Green is one of a handful of area contracting firms to be a certified Maryland Home Performance with Energy Star. The mission of this ambitious program, a joint effort between the Maryland Energy Administration and the EPA’s Energy Star Department, is to reduce residential energy consumption statewide 15% by 2015. As part of this program, homeowners in Maryland can be assured in the quality of work because the program inspects every Home Performance job. When all of your home improvements and final tests are completed, we will prepare a Job Completion Report for your review and signature. The Report includes a list of completed upgrades, including total installed cost, predicted energy savings, and additional non-energy benefits (such as predicted carbon dioxide savings, comfort, and health improvements). We will submit a copy of this signed report to Maryland Home Performance with ENERGY STAR. To receive a Home Performance Certificate you must have achieved at least three qualified energy improvements or energy savings of 10% or more. If so, Maryland Home Performance will send you a Home Performance Certificate. This certificate will reveal your home’s annual carbon dioxide emissions reduction due to your new energy efficient improvements.
Ardently Green in partnership with Groundswell is weatherizing DC homes, which in turn will save homeowners up to 20 - 30% on their energy bills and offset 3,645 metric tons of carbon. Home weatherization not only reduces homeowner monthly bills, it is one of the most effective strategies in arresting climate change. While inefficient homes contribute over 20 percent of the nation’s carbon pollution and upgrades can quickly save residents money in the form of energy bills, less than 5 percent of these 130 million homes have undergone an energy efficient retrofit, or weatherization. Launched in September 2009, Groundswell is the nation’s most robust community engagement campaign around home efficiency, proving that it's really possible to save homeowners money while taking action on climate change and creating good green jobs. Groundswell views home weatherization as the linchpin of a revitalized community and a model green city for families, businesses and the environment.
